    On Wednesday, March 19 at 4:33 p.m. Patrolman. Ryan McGowan was on routine patrol near the Lake Mohawk Country Club. He checked on a tan Chrysler that was parked. Two occupants weie in the vehicle. McGowan smelled the odor of burned marijuana as he approached, A marijuana pipe was found in the vehicle. Cory Monbleau, 21, of Sparta, and Alexandra Mills, 23, of Hopatcong were arrested for possession of narcotic paraphernalia. Both were transported to police headquarters for processing. Mills was found to have an outstanding warrant from Mt. Arlington Court. She was turned over to Mt. Arlington. Monbleau was released pending a required court appearance. On Friday, March 21 at 2:45 p.m., Patrolman. Joseph Pensado was on routine patrol on Route 15, when he observed a black Mercedes Benz traveling at a high rate of speed in the north bound lane. He stopped the vehicle on Route 517 and smelled the odor of burned marijuana. The driver, Michael Shaleesh, 27, of Staten Island, NY, was arrested for possession of under 50 grams of marijuana. He was transported to police headquarters for processing. He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, speeding, unsafe lane change and careless driving. Shaleesh was released pending a required court appearance. On Saturday, March 22 at 12:10 a.m., Patrolman Adam Carbery was on routine patrol on Route 15, when he noticed a black Honda being operated with a cracked tail- light. Upon approaching the vehicle the odor of burned marijuana was detected. The driver, Ray Llavems, 22, of Sussex, was arrested for possession of marijuana, He was transported to police headquarters for processing. He was also charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, maintenance of lamps, failure to inspect and failure to make repairs. Llaverias was released pending a required court appearance. On Saturday, March 22 at 4:42 a.m., Sparta patrols were dispatched to Route 517 near the Middle School for a report of a one- car motor vehicle accident. When police arrived, they found a black Subaru extensively damaged. Two telephone poles and a tree showed heavy damage from the accident The driver of the vehicle, Tina Pecca, 25, of Vernon, was arrested for driving while intoxicataed. She was transported to police headquarters for processing. She was also charged with hindering apprehension, careless driving, failure to report an accident and failure to keep right, Pecca was released pending a required court appearance. On Satruday, March 22 at 10:58 p.m., Patrolman Adam Carbery was on routine patrol on Route 15, when he noticed a white Daewoo being operated with a non- functioning headlight. Carbery noticed the remnants of a hollowed out cigar, known as a blunt, on the drivers lap and shirt. The driver, Angel Alicea, 23, of Greeley Pa., was arrested for possession of marijuana. The passenger Matthew Pitanco, 19, of Greeley Pa., was also arrested for possession of marijuana. Both were transported to police headquarters for processing. Alicea was also charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, maintenance of lamps and failure to produce required documents. Both were released pending a required court appearance. On Sanday, March 23 at 2:33 a.m., Sgt. Jeffrey Mase was on routine patrol on Route 15, when he noticed a black Honda Accord parked on the shoulder and the driver appearing to be changing a flat tire. Sgt. Mase pulled over to render assistance. Sgt. Mase noticed that the right front tire was completely shredded. The driver Nirav Patel, age 25, of Hamburg NJ was arrested for DWL He was transported to Sparta PD for processing. Mr. Patel was addidonally charged with careless driving, failure to maintain lane and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was released pending a required court appearance.
