    October 1 At approximately 9:54 p.m., Ptl. David Pridham observed a vehicle that was traveling on Sawmill Road without any headlights on. After stopping the vehicle, further investigation resulted in the arrest of the driver, Larry Case, 53, of Conestoga Trail in Sparta. He was charged with DWI, careless driving, driving while suspended and driving without headlights. He was released pending a mandatory court date in Sparta Court. At approximately 11:14 p.m., Ptl. Robert Fraser observed a vehicle that was traveling northbound on Route 15 that was unable to maintain its lane of travel. After stopping the vehicle, further investigation resulted in the arrest of the driver Jeannine Fetherman, 23, of South Sterling, Pa. Fetherman was arrested and charged with possession of CDS (Heroin), possession of a hypodermic needle, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was also charged with motor vehicle summons of CDS in a motor vehicle, no registration in possession and failure to maintain lane. She was released pending a mandatory Court Date in Sparta Court. A passenger in the vehicle, James Singer, 22, of Honesdale, Pa. was also arrested. He was charged with possession of CDS (Heroin), possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a hypodermic needle. He was lodged in the Sussex County Jail on outstanding warrants out of West Orange and the Sussex County Sheriffs Department. October 3 At 12:15 p.m., Officer Marc Rubino responded to Signal Hill Trail for a possible drug overdose. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of Jackie DeGraaf, 20, at that address. She complained that she was going through withdrawal. She has been charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia and taken to Newton Hospital, were she was released October 7 At 8:18 p.m., Officer Joe Antonello and Dave Pridha.m. responded to Springbrook Trail for a reported motor vehicle accident. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of Gary Weaver, 56, of Rodgers Lane, Sparta, who had struck a silver Volvo with his pick-up truck. No one was injured, and Weaver was charged with careless driving, improper backing and D.W.I. He was later released.
