He was transported to the Sparta Police Department for processing and was charged with underage DWI, careless driving and failing to maintain lamps, He was released pending a required court appearance. At 3:l9 a.m., Patrolam Brian Hassloch was on routine patrol on Route 15 when he observed a vehicle traveling in the north bound being operated in an erratic manner. The driver, Judeth Roos, 44, of Hewitt, was arrested for driving while intoxicated. She was transported to the Sparta Police Department for processing and was additionally charged with careless driving and failure to maintain lane. She was released pending a required court appearance, August 8 At 10:48 a.m., Detective Terrance Mulligan investigated the theft of cash from the Mohawk Exxon Gas Station, which had occurred on Aug. 4. The investigation concluded with the arrest of Luis Letra, 21, of Sparta. Letra was charged with theft and forgery. He was released pending a required court appearance. August 10 At 12:53 a.m., Patrolman Brian Hassloch was on routine patrol on Route 181, when he observed a vehicle with a headlight out. After stopping the car the driver, Mary Comerford, 19, of Lake Hopatcong, was arrested for underage driving while intoxicated. She was transported to Sparta Police Department for processing where she was additionally charged with failing to maintain lamps and careless driving. Comerford was released pending a requited court appearance,
