March 6 At l:26 p.m., officer Lew Brown observed a car on Route 15 with a view obstruction cause by numerous articles hanging from his rear view mirror. After stopping the car, further investigation resulted in the arrest of the driver, Michael Napolitano, 36, of Franklin Square, N.Y, He was charged with having an obstructed view, possession of a controlled and dangerous substance in a vehicle, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was later released. March 10 At l:57 a.m., Sergeant John Paul Beebe observed a car speeding on Route 15. After stopping the car near Sparta Junction, further investigation resulted in the attest of the driver, Wieslaw Cwiek, 50, of Woodbridge. He was charged with speeding, careless driving, following to close and driving while intoxicated. He was later released. March 11 At approximately 3:13 p.m., officer Brian Hassloch observed a vehicle traveling north on State Highway Route 15 that had a brake light out. After stopping the vehicle, further investigation resulted in the attest of the driver, John Solch III, 23, of Milford, PA. He was charged with possession of a controlled and dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, possession of under 50 Grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to maintain lane, and maintenance of lamps. David Bachetti, 18, a passenger in the vehicle, was also arrested and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both men were released pending a mandatory court appearance. At approximately 4:45 p.m, Scot Elig and Marc Rubino observed a vehicle traveling on State Highway Route 15 that had a brake light out and did not have a front license plate. After stopping the vehicle, further investigation resulted in arrest of the driver, David Rivera, 40, of Newton. He was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a hypodermic syringe, maintenance of lamps, failure to keep right, improper display of license plates and possession of a controlled and dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. Tara Temby, 31, of Sussex, a passenger, was also arrested and charged with possession of cocaine, possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a hypodermic syringe. Both suspects were released pending a mandatory court appearance.
