    July 3 At 2:54 p.m. police received a report of a vehicle being driven erratically on Route 517. Officer Bill Moyle stopped the car on Sparta Avenue. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of the driver, Juan Robalino-Rosale, 26, of Newark. He was charged with being an unlicensed driver, failing to keep right, careless driving and driving while intoxicated. He was transported to Newton Hospital because of his high degree of intoxication. July 4 At 7:10 p.m., Officer Kurt Morris observed a car failing to maintain a lane of travel as it exited Route 15 onto Route 517. After stopping the car, further investigation resulted in the arrest of the driver, Brett Hosking, 19, of Franklin. He has been charged with possession of heroin, possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, being under the influence of narcotics, driving while intoxicated, having a controlled and dangerous substance in a vehicle failing to maintain a lane of travel and failing to wear a seat belt. He was later released.
