    December 6 At 1:48a.m., Officer Marc Rubino observed a vehicle on Woodport Road that was having a difficulty maintaining a lane of travel. After stopping the truck, further investigation resulted in the arrest of the driver, Joseph Brady, 49, of Sparta. He was charged with careless driving, failing to keep right and driving while intoxicated. He was later released At 11:23 p.m., a car driven by Alexis Florio, 23, of Hopatcong, heading south on East Shore Trail near the Manna struck a guide rail and then a stonewall. Florio was uninjured in the accident but further investigation resulted in her arrest for careless driving, failing to keep right, being a suspended driver, failing to exhibit documents, driving while intoxicated, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was later released. December 7 At 3:32 p.m., Sergeant John Paul Beebe observed the driver of a pick up truck urinating in the parking lot of “Acting A Part” Dance Studio on Woodport Road. Further investigation by Sgt. Beebe and Officer Joe Pensado resulted in the arrest of the driver, Jesse Medina, 56, of Lake Hopatcong. He has been charged with lewdness, driving while intoxicated, failing to exhibit documents and being uninsured. He was later released. December 10 At 10:09 p.m., Corporal Bill Moyle stopped a Mason Dump Truck on Stanhope Road for a motor vehicle infraction. During the stop, a passenger in the truck, Peter Filippone, 33, of Hopatcong, identified himself as a police officer in Bloomfield. Further investigation resulted in his arrest for impersonating a police officer. He was later released. December 11 At 3:55 p.m., Sergeant John Paul Beebe responded to Route 15 for a report of an erratic driver heading to Sparta from Jefferson. After stopping the suspect vehicle, further investigation resulted in the arrest of the driver, Richard Lenaan, 18, of Sussex. He has been charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled and dangerous substance in a vehicle and failing to maintain a lane of travel. He was later released.
