    January 30 At approximately 2:07 p.m., Cpl John Lamon observed a vehicle traveling northbound on State Highway Route 15 at a high rate of speed. After stopping the vehicle, further investigation resulted in the arrest of the driver, Brian Bigert, 23, of Slate Hill, NY. Bigert was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, heroin; possession of CDS in a motor vehicle, speeding, and left brake light out. A passenger, Den ton Kirk, 20, of Greenville, N.Y., was also charged with possession of heroin. Both were released pending a mandatory court date in Sparta Court. February 1 At approximately 2:57 a.m., Ptl. Lewis Brown observed a vehicle traveling northbound on State Highway Route 15 that did not have any working taillights. After stopping the vehicle, further investigation resulted in the arrest of the passenger, Luis Realpaez, 25, of Kearney. Realpaez was charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and was released pending a court date in Sparta Court. The driver of the vehicle, Linnette Lopez, 29, of Newark, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, no taillights, and failure to inspect. She was released pending a mandatory court date in Sparta Court. February 4 At 1:59 a.m., Officer Brian Hassloch observed a pick-up truck traveling south on Sparta Avenue at an unusually slow speed, 22 mph in a 45 mph zone. After stopping the truck, further investigation resulted in the arrest of the driver, Robert Smith, 55, of Saddle River. Smith was charged with D.W.I., failing to keep right and failing to maintain lamps. He was later released. February 5 At l:50 a.m., Officer Marc Rubino observed a car going the wrong way on Mohawk Avenue near Route 181. After stopping the car on Main Street, further investigation resulted in the arrest of the driver, Jennifer Mull, 30, of Ogdensburg. She was charged with failing to keep right, careless driving, driving the wrong way on a one-way street, failing to yield to an emergency vehicle and D.W.l, She was later released.
