    January 9 At 12:18, Officer Dave Pridham observed a car speeding on Rte. 15. After stopping the car, further investigation resulted in the arrest of the driver, Raymond Andruska, 44, of Lincoln Park. He was charged with speeding, DWI, and careless driving. He was later released. January 11 At 7:08 a.m., Officer Joseph Antonello observed a car on Rte. 15 without a front license plate and its center brake light not working, After stopping the car, further investigation resulted in the arrest of the driver, Neil Miranda, 36, of Montague. He was charged with having an unregistered and uninsured vehicle, fictitious plates, driving while suspended, CDS in a vehicle, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was later released January 12 At ll:36 a.m., Officer Richard Smith observed a car with an overdue inspection sticker on Woodport Rd. and stopped the car on Woodport at the PNC Bank. While speaking to the driver, Aaron O’Connor, 23, of Hamburg, a packet of suspected heroin was observed on the passenger side floor of the car, which O’Connor grabbed and swallowed. He was arrested and charged with possession of heroin, tampering with evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, failing to inspect a vehicle, failure to maintain lamps, improper safety glass, and CDS in a vehicle. He was lodged in the Sussex County Jail in lieu of $15,000. At ll:28 p.m., Officer Joe Pensado observed a car speeding on Woodport Rd. near Pine Cone Lane. After stopping the car on East Shore Trail, further investigation resulted in the arrest of the driver, Nicole Etro, 31, of Sparta. She has been charged with speeding, failing to keep right, failing to stop at an intersection and DWI. She was later released. At 6:09 p.m., Officers Joe Pensado and Frank Schomp responded to the 200 block of West Mountain Rd. for a reported highly intoxicated man in the street. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of Krzystof Jastrzebski, 41, of Garfield, who had earlier been released from the Sussex County Jail and was reportedly walking home. The officers found him highly intoxicated and confused, charged him with disorderly conduct, and transported him to Newton Hospital for treatment of his intoxication. January 14 At 9:39 p.m., a vehicle slid off the roadway on Sussex Mills and Lambert Dr. Further investigation by Sgt. John Paul Beebe and DWI Task Force Officer Cpl John Lamon resulted in the arrest of the driver, Peter Dicsso, 44, of Sparta. He was charged with careless driving and DWI. He was later released.
