    April 17 Sparta detectives charged 38-year-old Brian McFadden from Dingmans Ferry PA with burglary and theft. It is alleged that McFadden entered an unlocked vehicle in front of the Dunkin Donuts on Dec. 15, 2007 and stole a purse. McFadden was served with the charges in the Sussex County Jail where he is lodged on unrelated charges April 25 Sparta detectives arrested 27-year-old Shawn H. Culleny from Milford PA on burglary charges. On March 3 Culleny entered a work van owned by a previous employer and stole construction equipment valued at $4,000. Culleny was charged with burglary and theft, both third degree crimes. He was lodged in the Sussex County Jail in lieu of $20,000 set by Judge John Mulhem. April 28 Sparta detectives charged two Sussex County women with a slew of burglary and theft charges stemming from reported car burglaries in the Lake Mohawk section of Sparta. 29-year-old Sabrina Vivino of Franklin and 22-year-old Jackie Degraaf of Sparta were charged with entering six vehicles on the evening of March 28, Items stolen included GPS systems, radar detectors, XM radio, personal checks. Vivino was charged with six counts of 3rd degree burglary, two counts of 3rd degree theft, and four counts of disorderly persons theft. Vivino was served in the Sussex County Jail where she is lodged on related charges. Degraaf was released pending a court appearance after she was charged with burglary, theft and conspiracy to commit burglary, all 3rd degree crimes. May 1 At 8:24 p.m. Sparta Police responded to a report of a one-car motor vehicle accident on Gail Court. Ptl. Thomas Snyder was the first to arrive. The vehicle, a black Toyota Camry, had collided with the curb and was stuck on the grass. The driver of the vehicle, Jackson Adamczak, age 24, of Newton, was at first unresponsive but did eventually respond. A partially consumed bottle of Smirnoff Watermelon Vodka was found in the vehicle, Mr, Adamczak was transported to Newton Hospital for observation. He was charged with DWI, careless driving, and having an open container in a motor vehicle. May 2 At ll:12 p.m. Ptl. Andrew Petrucelli was monitoring traffic on Woodport Road, when he observed a beige Mercedes Benz traveling at a high rate of speed. The driver John Nacincik, age 43, of Sparta NJ was arrested for DWI. He was transported to Sparta PD for processing, He was additionally charged with speeding, careless driving and failure to produce a valid registration.
