MAHWAH—The Foundation for Free Enterprise conducted its 30th annual “Learn About Business” seminar at Ramapo College in Mahwah from July 31-Aug. 4. More than 100 of the finest high school juniors and seniors from throughout New Jersey were nominated for participation by their principals, teachers, guidance counselors or community leaders. Representing the local community were Michael Pinto and John Kowalchuk, both of Sparta High School. The award-winning “Learn About Business” program helps develop leaders who understand and appreciate the vital impact a free market has on people’s lives. Lectures and discussions are taught by college professors and business executives. The costs of the program are borne by contributions of many businesses, foundations, and individuals who believe in the importance of educating tomorrow’s business and community leaders.
