June 19 Sparta Police responded to a complaint about a loud party on Crownview Court, where they found a large party on the back deck, mostly consisting of juveniles. Agostino Pollastrone, 25, of Sparta and David Harris, 24, of Sparta were charged with providing alcohol to minors. Sean Stevenson, 20, of North Haledon was charged with under 50 grams of marijuana. Emily Gallagher, 19, of Morris Plains was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. June 25 Iran Salmon, 31, of Hackensack was charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and providing false information to law enforcement after a traffic stop for a failed inspection sticker and a view obstruction. Debra Podhanjy 41, of Bushkill, PA was arrested for DWI after an officer was dispatched to help her with two flat tires, partially off the rims, at the 7-11 on Pine Cone Lane. She was additionally issued summons for refusing to submit to a breath test, leaving the scene of an accident, reckless driving, careless driving and operating an unsafe vehicle. June 28 Jordon LaRue, 18 of Sparta; Mary McCormack, 19, of Sparta; Rachel Molina, 19, of Sparta; Matthew Hinks, 20, of Sparta; Jeff Frick, 18, of Sparta; Casey Gizzo, 19, of Sparta; Earl Chang, 20, of Sparta; Michael Frick, 20, of Sparta; Kurt Donaldson, 20, of Sparta; Sara Stockinski, 18, of Newton; Allison Cullen, 20, of Sparta; Amber Mauriello, 20, of Sparta and Jessica Colon, 20 of Sparta were all charged on violations of the ordinance governing private parties and consumption of alcohol by persons under the legal age on private property. The charges came after the police responded to a noise complaint. July 2 Michael Delorenzo, 47, of Newton was arrested for DWI after a traffic stop for erratic driving. He was additionally issued a summons for careless driving. July 3 Gino Crespo, 42, of Beach Lake, PA was charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a CDS in a motor vehicle. A hatchet was also found in his vehicle. Crespo was arrested after police stopped his vehicle because it fit the description of a complaint of driver exhibiting road rage. Kurt Ullman, 47, of Andover was arrested for DWI when he appeared to be unconscious behind the wheel of his vehicle on Pine Terrace. He was issued additional motor vehicle summonses for refusing a breath test; careless driving; failure to exhibit documents; failure to maintain lane and obstructing the passage of vehicles.
