Sparta's future astronauts

Sixth graders at Sparta Middle School recently heard a presentation by Dr. Frank Scalzo on the NASA portal on the Internet, the future astronauts program, and various career possibilities that involve math and science. Dr. Scalzo is the education programs specialist at the Goddard Space Flight Center at the Goddard Institute for Space Studies in NYC. The program was arranged by Middle School teacher, Susan Sawey.
