    Sparta 5, Jefferson 0 Greg Miller regsistered his sixth shutout of the season as Sparta blanked Jefferson 5-0 in a SCIL boys soccer match. Miller came up with three saves and was chosen the SCIL Player of the Week as Sparta improved to 6-0-2. Rob Arena, Kyle Behrendt, Keith Huettenmoser, Tommy McCormick and Rafael Millan netted goals with Mark Huelsenbeck credited with a pair of assists. Behrendt, Ricky Brown and Nic Heckman dished off assists. Wallkill 1, Newton 0 Wallkill Valley edged Newton 1-0 as Mike Radino made two saves for the Rangers to record the shutout. Emilio Tirri snapped a scoreless stalemate in the second half when he scored the game-winner off assists from Gio Rivera and ravis Wenz. High Point 2, Lenape 0 Dustin VanderGroef turned aside six official shots on goal as High Point blanked Lenape Valley 2-0. Alex Malcom supplied the firepower, scoring twice to up his season total to eight goals. He put the Wildcats on the board two minutes into the game off an assist from Drew Styer and produced an insurance tally in the second half when he scored on a penalty kick. Vernon 4, Hopatcong 0 Vernon shut out Hopatcong 4-0 as Conrad Rusnak made two saves. Kyle Wallburn netted two goals with Ethan Eustace and Andrew Tarantino netting solo goals. Eric Card contributed a pair of assists with Eustace and Jesse Lowends picking up assists. Kittatinny 4 Pope John 3 Eric Gionzalez netted the game-winning tally in overtime as Kittatinny rallied from a 3-0 deficit to edge Pope John 4-3. Nick Montella and Kris Steingall fot the Cougars on the board before Pat Spaulding deadlocked the game with eight minutes remaining in regulation.
