Castiglioni leads local pack in Newark 20K

Lake Hopatcong's Charles Castiglioni overcame the wintry conditions to begin the 2005 road running campaign by leading a pack of local runners to the finish in the Newark Distance Classic 20K Run Sunday morning. The 46-year-old was clocked in 1:25:13 as he finished 75th overall in the field of 270 competitors who completed the 12.4-mile course in New Jersey's largest city. In the Newark Distance 5K Run, Stockholm's 13-year old Robby Allen finished 43rd in the field of 128 runners, turning in a time of 23:23. 10K Results 75.
