DeRouen glides to gold medal status

West Milford's Tyler deRouen glided over the 400-meter intermediate hurdles to a gold medal finish in the NJSIAA Group III track and field championship contested in Egg Harbor Township on Friday and Saturday. He was clocked in 54.88 seconds as he qualified for the NJSIAA Meet of Champions on Wednesday (June 8) in South Plainfield.
