Ferguson to perform at 3-D shoot

    The Appalachian Bowmen will host their 25th Annual Appalachian Bowmen Three-Dimensional Archery Shoot on the weekend of Aug. 20 and 21, at the Whittingham Wildlife Management Area at 118 Shotwell Rd. (Rte. 608) in Greendell. The event will feature television archery trick-shot artist and renowned bow hunter, Byron Ferguson. He will perform twice each day, and be available all day to autograph his books, videos, DVDs or just say hello and shake a hand. Registration will open at 7 a.m. each day. Adult registration is $15 per day or $25 for two days, youths 6 to 12 years of age are $5 per day, and children under 6 years of age are free. The spectator fee is $5 per day. The archery event is open to all archers using traditional or modern archery gear. Cross bows are not permitted.
