    Newton 5, Pope John 2 Amy Keegan sparked Newton to a 5-2 win over Pope John in a SCIL field hockey match. Keegen netted three goals and dished off an assist as the Braves scored four times in the second half. Amanda Miller scored twice while Hearher Connelly, Maggie Duffy, Ashley Meisinger and Lia Ordile were credited with assists. Goalkeeper Dani Jones came up with eight saves. High Point 4, Vernon 2 High Point edged Vernon 4-2 as goalie Lauren Fasano made six saves. Becky Penhaker netted the game-winning tally at the 50 minutes mark when she snapped a 2-2 deadlock off a feed from Caitlin Orr. Orr had opened the scoring 11 minutes into the contest with an assist from Emaigh Meyer. At 23:03, Sarah Bell made it 2-0 with Jess Grimm and Christine Spangenburg picking up assists. Courtney Dober added an insurance tally with Kaiti Robertazzi credited with an assist. Kittatinny 3, Lenape 1 Nicole DiBattista scored twice as Kittatinny defeated Lenape Valley 3-1. Allie Schubert gave LVR a brief 1-0 lead before Lauren Nicomini knotted the score 25 seconds later. Hopatcong 1, Jefferson 0 Ashllee Agens scored the only goal 22 minutes into the game as Hopatcong edged Jefferson 1-0 with Lisa Cuchinella getting an assist. Goalie Amy Fischer made five saves.
