Wallkill, Farmstead witness aces Rich Knorr and John Mangiante both registered aces on local golf courses last week. Playing with Allan Botbyl, Bruce LaBar and Herb Molke, Knorr used his four iron on the 200-yard thirteenth hole at Wallkill in Franklin to record his hole-in-one. Mangiante duplicated that feat playing the 188-yard third hole on the Clearview Course at Farmstead Golf Club in Andover. Mangiante was playing with Carmine D'Aloia, Frank Sparo and Matt Tricorico and used a five wood. Wallkill Couples Dave and Margaret Naisby claimed low net honors in the Couples Tournament at Wallkill when they finished first on a match of cards at 67. Judy Deventoy teamed up with Frank Wendell to pick up the second place prize, while the twosome of Cole and Mary Lou Kennedy placed third with an adjusted card of 68.
