Hobb Engler Little League Announces Dates

BYRAM-Hobb Engler Little League announces several key dates for all players and parents to be aware of as the League prepares to start its 30th season.. If any players still intend to register, please contact League President Lori Grant at 973 347 0178 before evaluations begin on Saturday, February 26. On that day at Lenape Valley High School, ten year olds will be scheduled one hour between 8 and 10; 9 year olds between 10:30 and 12:30; and 11 and 12 year olds between 1:00 and 3:00. Those already registered will be contacted regarding their specific evaluation time. At LVRHS from 8-10 pm on March 7, evaluations will again be held for 11 & 12 year olds, on March 8 for 13 year olds; and on March 9 for 14 year olds. Second dates are pending for nine and ten year olds. An Umpires Clinic will be held on Sunday April 3 from 9 am to 12 noon. Details will follow. All new coaches are required by Byram Twp. to attend a Rutgers Certification Clinic scheduled at the Civic Center on Monday, April 11 from 6:30 to 9:30. There will be a fee.
