Lenape Valley surged to a 17-0 lead after 12 minutes and defeated High Point 17-6. Mike Groom busted two yards into the end zone, Joe Fritzky bolted four yards for a TD and Robbie Klnck split the uprights with a 33-yard field goal after booting a pair of extra points. High Point got on the board in the fourth quarter when quarterback Brian Konopka, who completed 13 of 24 passing attempts for 87 yards, hit Matt Khoury with a four-yard TD strike.
