Locals race in Our House 5-mile run

Sparta's Bill Bosmann led a dozen local residents to the line in the Sixth Annual Our House Five-Mile Run that started and ended at the Village Green on Sunday. The 54-year-old was the 34th runner in the field of 445 who completed the course in Union County, posting a time of 31:29. He picked up the runnerup award in the men's 50 to 54-year old age division. Barbara Hoess of Sparta finished second in the women's 55-59 age bracket when the 58-year-old was clocked in 39:57. Sparta's 53-year-old Larry Scheid was third behind Bosmann with a time of 31:44.
