AUGUSTA — The Sussex County Miners defeated the New Jersey Jackals (Little Falls, Passaic County) in baseball on Sunday, July 30 2017. The final score was 6-5. The minor league baseball game took place at Skylands Stadium in Augusta, New Jersey.
The Miners made a monumental comeback in the ninth inning from four runs down. The game was the Miners fourth straight win. The other three wins were also against the New Jersey Jackals. The Sussex County Miners played the New Jersey Jackals on July 27th (5-4), 28th (3-2) and the 29th (7-0).
