AUGUSTA — The Sussex County Miners defeated the Quebec Capitales (Canada) on Sunday July 29, 2018. The final score was 5-3. The minor league baseball game took place at Skylands Stadium in Augusta, New Jersey. With the win, the Miners extended their first place lead to 10.5 games over Québec. They also swept their eighth series of the season and won their twentieth game in July, breaking their franchise record set last month for wins in a month.
