SPARTA — Pope John XXIII Regional High School was defeated by Newton High School in varsity boys soccer on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018.
The final score was 6-0.
Kevin Ayoso scored two goals and contributed an assist for Newton. Joey Spadafora added two goals. David Crowley and Anthony Briones each contributed one goal.
Team records: Newton Braves 7-1. Pope John Lions 0-8.
