SPARTA — Pope John XXIII Regional High School defeated Jefferson Township High School in girls varsity volleyball on Monday, October 16, 2017. The final score was 2-1. The matches took place at Pope John XXIII Regional High School in Sparta.
Pope John won the first match by the score 25-23. Jefferson won the second match by the score 26-24. Pope John won the third match by the score 26-24.
The Pope John Lions and the Jefferson Falcons wore jerseys with a combination of the color pink in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October).
