SPARTA — Pope John XXIII Regional High School defeated Delbarton School (Morristown, N.J.) in varsity football on Saturday, September 23, 2017. The final score was 49-14. The homecoming game took place at Pope John XXIII Regional High School in Sparta Township, New Jersey. Seventeen year old Colleen Shaffer was crowned homecoming queen.
