SPARTA — Pope John XXIII Regional High School (Sparta, N.J.) defeated North Hunterdon High School (Annandale, N.J.) in boys varsity basketball on Friday, February 23, 2018. The final score was 70-63. The Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex Tournament final took place at Sparta High School.
Aaron Clarke led eighth-seeded Pope John by scoring a game high 20 points. And was named Most Valuable Player (MVP). Marcus Hopkins scored 17 points and DiAndre South scored 15 points respectively. Eddie Davis scored 12 points and was named all-tournament team player.
Michael DelSantro led sixth-seeded North Hunterdon by scoring 14 points. Paul Woolhouse scored 12 points. Xander Braun scored 9 points.
