LBI 18-Mile Run Lafayette’s Dave DiCierbo turned in a strong effort as he crossed the finish line twentieth overall in a field of 596 runners who completed the 2005 LBI Commemorative 18-Mile Run on Long Beach Island Sunday morning. The 25-year-old was clocked in 2:05:05. Hamburg’s 29-year old Sarah Kukan was the first local female runner to reach the finish line in Brant Beach when she placed 28th among the 222 females in the race with a time of 2:28:41.
