Sparta outscores Jefferson

Sparta defeated Jefferson 35-29 despite an outstanding effort by the Falcons’ B.J. Stokes who connected on 19 of 37 aerial attempts for 252 yards. He tossed TD passes of 38 yards to Manny Fanarjian, 20 yards to Matt Valentini and 25 yards to Buddy Miller and was not intercepted. John Kaschak blasted one-yard over the goal line to complete the Falcons’ scoring. Ryan Skorupka scored twice for the Spartans, running 18 yards into the end zone and hauling in a 27-yard TD strikes for Tyler Reese who also hooked up with Russ Mastriani on a 14-yard TD strike and Andrew Passerell with a 16-yard toichdown pass.
