SPARTA — Sparta High School defeated High Point Regional High School (Sussex, N.J.) in varsity football on Saturday, November 4, 2017. The final score was 42-7. The game took place at Sparta High School in Sparta.
The win means the Spartans, undefeated in division play, take the North Jersey Super Football Conference's Patriot Red Division title. It's their second division title in the new conference's second year.
Team records: High Point Wildcats 6-3. Sparta Spartans 8-1.
