OGDENSBURG-For the first time since 2002, a member of the New Jersey City University’s women’s cross-country team other than junior Terez Tala of Ogdensburg and Wallkill Valley Regional High School was the first Gothic Knight female runner to cross the finish line. Tala, who has battled injuries this year, wasn’t beaten, however. Instead, she chose not to run at the Collegiate Track Conference Championships at DeSales University in Pennsylvania. Until the meet, Tala had led NJCU women runners at 22 straight meets.
