SPARTA — Veritas Christian Academy defeated the Pilgrim Academy (Egg Harbor City, N.J.) in boys basketball on Thursday, December 14, 2017. The final score was 55-27. The high school varsity game took place at Veritas Christian Academy in Sparta.
Dylan Cuperus led Veritas Christian in scoring with 18 points. Cuperus also grabbed 11 rebounds and made three assists. Aaron Burke scored 11 points, grabbed 16 rebounds, and credited with four steals. George Qarmout contributed 10 points, grabbed two rebounds, made two assists and credited with two steals.
