SPARTA — Veritas Christian Academy defeated the Pilgrim Academy (Egg Harbor City, N.J.) in girls basketball on Thursday, December 14, 2017. The final score was 41-12. The high school varsity game took place at Veritas Christian Academy in Sparta.
Karlea Zazopoulos led Veritas Christian in scoring with 14 points and contributed four steals. Jane Valkema contributed 10 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Joy Miladinovich accomplished a game-high seven steals. Naomi Delbury scored seven points. Amy Van Grouw scored two points and grabbed six rebounds.
The Veritas Lions and the Pilgrim Pioneers compete in the Morris County Christian Home Educators (MCCHE) sports league.
