    Pope John 2 - Kearny 0 Dana Inez keyed the attack as Pope John rolled to a 2-0 victory over Kearny, defeating the Hudson County team 25-17 and 25-22. Inez scooped up a match-high 14 digs, spiked five kills and served two aces as she was chosen the SCIL Player of the Week. Her teammate Mary Boeren chipped in with eight digs and three kills. Cliffside Park 2 - Pope John 1 On Thursday, the Lions dropped a 2-1 decision to Cliffside Park, winning the first game, 23-25, but losing the next two, 25-21 and 25-23. Francesaca Pricarico scooped up 10 digs while Boeren was credited with six digs. Fair Lawn 2 - Vernon 0 Two days earlier, Vernon was beaten by Fair Lawn as the Cutters from Bergen County won by scores of 25-19 and 28-26. Chelsea Wagner keyed a second game rally that fell short when she delivered 12 straight winning services.
