Wallkill Valley wins one, beats Tech

Sussex Tech linebacker Krystian Kipp was the recipient of the Tommy Bock Indomitable Spirit Award. The award was named in honor of former Sussex Tech football player Tommy Bock who died earlier this year after suffering a head injury from a fall off of a skateboard. Bock was also a member of the Wallkill Valley Regional High School wrestling team. A player from each team was selected who exemplifies the ideals of the award.

SPARTA — Wallkill Valley Regional High School earned their first win of the season by defeating Sussex County Technical School in varsity football on Saturday, October 7, 2017. The final score was 14-7. The game took place at Sussex County Technical School in Sparta.
