Women’s Softball League continues this fall

Registration begins Wednesday, Aug. 16 for Sparta’s fall recreational programs, including the Women’s Softball League.
This will be the third fall season for the league, which also has a summer season.
This summer, there were two divisions: one with five teams and the other with six teams. Teams have from 12 to 18 members.
Teams usually play each team in their division twice as well as four teams from the other division.
Players must be 18 or older; no experience needed.
“It is a great healthy outlet for women to let loose and be amongst to other women/wives/mothers and meet other people,” said Irene Ferrer.
