Summer programs at Camp Sacajawea

    Sparta — Camp Sacajawea, leased by Sparta Recreation, offers both indoor and outdoor facilities and kids between the ages of 3 and 13 have the opportunity to spend part, or most, of their summer doing traditional outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, boating, arts and crafts, games and sports. The Club House is a program at camp designed especially for preschoolers. A camp just for 4s is offered as well as a parent-child program. called Camping Crusaders for parents and their 3 and 4-year-olds. Junior Day Camp is a half-day program for children entering grades K through 3. They can attend one to all six weeks of camps. Senior Day Camp is for older kids (grades 3 through 8) with full day activities including tennis, swimming, boating, fishing, archery, theme days, off-site trips and more.
