Ambulatory surgical centers seeking accreditation by AAAHC undergo an extensive self-assessment and on-site survey by AAAHC expert surveyors who are actively involved in ambulatory health care, according to officials. Specialty Surgical Center is an independently owned and operates same day surgical center with two operating suites, pre- and post-op areas.
