    July 15 Kelly M. Willard, 31, of Budd Lake pled guilty to three counts of third degree theft. Willard admitted that while she was employed by the NJ Herald as a paper carrier between the dates of Nov. 26, 2008 and Aug. 5, 2009, she used the routing/account number from one of her customer’s checks to make on-line payments toward her own bills in an amount in excess of $500. July 22 Renee White-Curran 44, of Newton, was sentenced to three years probation and 100 hours of community service. She pled guilty on May 23, 2011, to possession of a controlled, dangerous substance, a third degree crime. Sarah V. Skettini, 30, of Highland Lakes, was sentenced to three years probation, was ordered to serve 60 days in the Keogh-Dwyer Correctional Facility and was given credit for time served. She must submit to a TASC evaluation and follow all recommendations made, submit to random urine monitoring, obtain employment, pay joint and several restitution in the amount of $101.99 and continue to take prescribed medications. She must pay total fines and penalties of $155 and submit a DNA sample at her expense. She pled guilty on June 6, 2011 to three counts of burglary, all crimes of the third degree. In pleading guilty, Skettini admitted that, between March 4, 2011 and March 16, 2011 in Vernon Township, she and a co-defendant illegally entered several vehicles and removed property from them. Nicole M. Weston, 22, of Sparta, was sentenced to three years probation, was ordered to serve one day in the Keogh-Dwyer Correctional Facility and was given credit for time served. She must submit to a TASC evaluation and follow all recommendations made, submit to random urine monitoring, obtain employment, perform 75 hours of community service and continue outpatient treatment. She must pay total fines and penalties of $1,205.00 and submit a DNA sample at her expense. She pled guilty on April 4, 2011 to Promoting/Facilitating Another in Distribution of CDS, a crime of the 3rd degree. In pleading guilty, Weston admitted that on October 29, 2009 in the Township of Sparta she accepted money from an individual for the purchase of Oxycotin from another individual. July 25 Michael J. Kooger, 42, of Newton, pled guilty to aggravated assault, a third-degree crime. Matthew C. James, 25, of Colonia, pled guilty to resisting arrest, a crime of the fourth degree. In pleading guilty, James admitted that on Oct. 5, 2010 in Lafayette Township, he ran from two Bergen County Sheriff's Officers who were attempting to serve him with an arrest warrant. Mark A. Alnemy, 21, of Vernon, pled guilty to two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, both crimes of the third degree. In pleading guilty, Alnemy admitted that on two occasions, Jan. 11, 2011 and April 14, 2011 in Vernon Township, he was found to be in possession of heroin. July 26 Jeremy Lownds, 20, of Vernon, pled guilty to two counts of third-degree burglary. Between Dec. 15 and 17, 2010 the defendant entered two different homes in Vernon taking various items including electronic equipment, jewelry cash and other items. He had a juvenile co-defendant for one of the burglaries. Christopher Hannah, 25, of Sparta pled guilty to the third degree crime of conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute one ounce or more of marijuana. He admitted to possessing with another individual approximately two pounds of marijuana on March 31, 2011 in Sparta which they intended to distribute. The matter was investigated by the Sussex County Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Task Force. Gregory Fischer, 58, of Newton, was indicted on charges of resisting arrest, a crime of the third degree. The matter was investigated by Trooper R. Trainor of the New Jersey State Police. The Grand Jury alleges that on Oct. 5, 2010 in Frankford Township, Fischer was intoxicated and became combative when State Troopers attempted to arrest him. A grand jury indictment is a charge only. The defendants are presumed innocent until guilt may be proved at a jury trial. Dean Willis, 37, of Montague, was indicted on charges of endangering the welfare of a child, a second-degree crime, and child abuse, a crime of the fourth degree. The matter was investigated by Trooper J. Torres of the New Jersey State Police. The Grand Jury alleges that on Nov. 3, 2010 in Frankford Township, Willis inflicted unnecessary punishment on a child who he had a legal duty for or assumed responsibility of.
