Taste of Newton a succulent success

NEWTON — People, music, and the aroma of gourmet cuisine filled Newton's Spring Street on Monday, Sept. 12, for the 10th Annual "Taste of Newton" event. Hosted by the Greater Newton Chamber of Commerce to raise money for their scholarship and decorating funds, 28 local eateries gathered to serve up cheeses, soups, appetizers, entrees, and decadent desserts and drinks. The event goers sat and enjoyed their meals at tables along Spring Street. Participants also browsed the shops and listened to the sounds of the Unsung Heroes.
