The Tea Hive reopens after completed renovations

Newton — The Tea Hive in Newton has reopened after completing renovations. Three of the dining rooms have been completely redecorated and the menu, known for its soups and sandwiches, has had some new additions. Several dealers are placing items for sale at the Tea Hive. Additionally, The Bee’s Knees Gift Shop has reopened, catering to tea fanciers with all things tea related as well as cards, gifts and jewelry. Hoping to retire in the near future, Julie Shotwell has put The Tea Hive up for sale for someone who would “love it as I do.” In the meantime, she added, the tradition of the Tea Hive continues as a place people come to get away from their hectic lives and relax and enjoy food “in a charming atmosphere.” To learn more, call 973-579-7177 or visit www.teahive.com.
