Time-saving computer classes at SCCC

    Newton —Sussex County Community College will present a fast-paced program on the Microsoft Office Database Management System, geared toward getting data organized. Corporate and Community Education is offering this one-day course from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 20. The cost of the class is $109, which includes handouts. Essentials, Intermediate and Advanced classes are available for Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access. Essentials classes cover beginner topics such as creating a worksheet, formatting cells, filtering and sorting records, and the many ways to print your file. Intermediate and Advanced classes move beyond the basics and cover topics such as integrating Microsoft programs. Corporate and Community Education also offers courses that focus on one subject matter, covering topics such as using styles and creating mailing lists, labels and envelops with Microsoft Word and creating lists, pivottables, and pivotcharts with Microsoft Excel.
