Sparta - During the “Week of the Young Child” last month, Tiny Town Preschool focused on the importance of literacy and sponsored a children’s book drive. Throughout the week, nearly 700 children’s books were donated. The books will be distributed to local children, as well as to schools and libraries in the Gulf Coast area. Tiny Town’s Preschool’s celebration kicked off with a visit from Sparta Mayor Ailish Hambel, who read two stories to the children. The New York Giants supplied the children with coloring books. Tiny Town prides itself on providing beneficial programs to the community throughout the year. In addition to its current programs, Tiny Town has developed a “Mommy & Me” program, open to the general public. For information, log on to mytinytownpreschool.com or call 973-579 -9999.
