Tubas galore!

Alpine fifth grade students Dominicq Cavezza, Samantha Charles, Matthew Connell, Emily Dilger, Chloe Hand, Simon Levien, Michael Nolfi, Emily Slattery and Joshua Williams (shown here with Conductor Christian Wilhjelm) were among the 12 Sparta musicians that participated in TubaChristmas at Rockefeller Center on Dec. 11. TubaChristmas celebrated its 38th anniversary this year with 502 baritone horn, tuba, and sousaphone players from around the country performing traditional Christmas carols. Sparta Band students Julian Buttitta, Cristina Saltos and Lizzy Wolfe also participated. Also there was Band Director Patty Curtis.
