Skylands Performing Arts Center provides entertainment for the community with the help of donations from patrons. Since SkyPAC’s restoration of The Newton Theatre in 2011, it has been presenting diverse programming, including world-renowned music acts, comedians, family productions, holiday shows and much more.

The historic Newton Theatre, founded in 1924, is a cornerstone of Sussex County. Iconic performers such as Todd Rundgren, Judy Collins, Jim Bruer, LeAnn Rimes, Lyle Lovett, Kansas, Marty Stuart, Arlo Guthrie, David Cassidy, Jon Anderson, Clint Black, The Bacon Brothers, Choo Choo Soul, The Bangles, and The Glenn Miller Orchestra have all graced our stage.

Its historic charm and world-class entertainment make The Newton Theatre NJ Skylands' premier entertainment venue.Ticket prices only cover a fraction of the cost to produce a show. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, SkyPAC relies on community support to continue to bring great acts to the stage. If you have ever enjoyed a performance at The Newton Theatre, the Theatre asks that you consider donating to its Annual Appeal. Your tax-deductible contribution, in any amount, allows SkyPAC to continue to bring world-class acts to our stage.
