Junior Woman's Club says thank you for Festival of Trees help

To the Editor: The Junior Woman’s Club of Sparta would like to thank the many people responsible for making the 9th Annual Festival of Trees a huge success. It was a beautiful community event and a successful fundraiser benefiting SCARC, Inc. We would also like to thank J. Thomas Jewelry & Gifts for donating a stunning white gold and diamond necklace for our raffle. Their continued support of this event each year is greatly appreciated. The Preview Gala was made extra special this year because of the generous sponsorship by Lighting & Automation Expo, the delicious desserts provided by Baker’s Perfection & Cafe Pierrot, the beautiful piano music played by Mary Jo Mathias, and the dance music provided by DJ Rikki Starr. The children’s activities began with Breakfast with Santa sponsored by Buckles & Bows Children’s Shoe Boutique and Childsplayspot. For the remainder of the day the public was treated to wonderful entertainment by local businesses, including Abrakadoodle, Biryukov Academy of Arts and Music, Cameo Productions, East/West Karate, and Linda’s Dance Dynamics. Thank you for all the sponsorships and donations of time and services. Special thanks to Lasater Banner & Signs for the beautiful signs they donated. We would also like to thank the community for supporting the Junior Woman’s Club of Sparta. This support allows us to continue to raise money for worthy causes such as SCARC, Inc. Thanks to all who attended this wonderful annual holiday event. Sincerely, Gina Apostolico & Darlene Blandina Co-Chair’s 2006 Festival of Trees
