I want to thank the voters of Sussex County for coming out to vote in Tuesday’s election and trusting me to be your next Freeholder. I am honored and humbled to have your support.
Throughout my campaign, I have met so many great people who shared with me their ideas, concerns, and aspirations for our beautiful county. There is no doubt we are faced with many challenges and there may be more to come. Some of my ideas that I’ve shared with you will provide relief for all of us including, property tax control, economic development, accountability and rigorous planning. You trusted me to be your Freeholder because these are just some of the issues I plan to tackle.
I would also like to congratulate my team on their overwhelming success in the 24th Legislative district. Senator Steve Oroho, Assemblyman Parker Space, and Assemblyman-Elect Hal Wirths are strong leaders who have set high standards on behalf of the residents in our district. I am proud to have been a part of this team and look forward to working with them to better our way of life here in Sussex County!
Lastly, it is important for me to not only thank, but recognize our outgoing Freeholder, Phil Crabb. Not only for his support of my election but for his years of dedication to the residents of Sussex County. Phil has been and continues to be a friend and pillar of our community for which we owe him a debt of gratitude.
I will always be here to listen and address your concerns the best way I can, and I look forward to working for you. Thank you again for your support!
    Herbert Yardley
    Freeholder-Elect
