Too much for so little

To the Editor: In the Feb. 19 edition of the Sunday Star Ledger, salaries of school administrators were presented. J. Thomas Morton, Sparta’s Superintendent’s salary was reported to be over $200,000 including perks. He apparently will also receive a minimum raise equal to 4.5 percent with possible merit pay. The salary we pay our superintendent is higher than the salary of any superintendent in Sussex, Warren, and Morris counties. It’s a shame that Sparta taxpayer’s are paying so much and getting so little in return. Larry Palmer Sparta
