Friday, April 5

Mingo Lodge will take the stage for an electrifying performance at 6 p.m. at the Lafayette House, 75 Route 15.

Experience the soulful vocals of Josie Webb, a talented local singer who draws inspiration from classic R&B and jazz, at Krogh’s Restaurant & Brew Pub, 23 White Deer Plaza, Sparta, starting at 6:30 p.m.

Or join Paul Derin for a night of Booze & Grooves at Milk Street Distillery, 1 Milk St., Branchville, as he spins vinyl starting at 7 p.m.

Rock out with the Kootz at McQ’s Pub at Lake Lenape, 165 Andover Sparta Road, Newton, starting at 7 p.m. The band performs an extensive repertoire of classic rock hits spanning several decades.

Celebrate the legendary piano men with David Clark and Bill Connors at the Newton Theatre, 234 Spring St., starting at 8 p.m. “Face to Face” is a tribute show featuring stunningly accurate renditions of Elton John and Billy Joel’s greatest hits performed by seasoned musicians. Enjoy Sue Polcer’s keyboard rock, pop and country tunes at Angry Erik Brewing, 2 Camre Drive, Newton, starting at 4 p.m.

Kenny & Gil take the stage at McQ’s Pub at 6 p.m. to deliver their mix of cover tunes.

The Shed Band visits the Lafayette House at 6 p.m. with fresh takes on beloved songs from Pink Floyd to the Beatles.

Rock out with the DUG The Band trio at Skylands Craft Beer & Wine Garden, 447 Route 284, Wantage, starting at 6:30 p.m.

Experience nostalgia for the ‘90s alternative rock scene with Lounge Act (Nirvana tribute), Fave Grohl (Foo Fighters tribute), and Say it Ain’t So Scorcho (Weezer tribute) at the Stanhope House, 45 Main St. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.

Swing by Milk Street Distillery at 7 p.m. to groove to the sounds of Acoustic Wolves.

Or step into the limelight at the Homestead Rest, 294 N. Church Road, Sparta, at 6:30 p.m. at a karaoke night hosted by Ray Sikora.

Thursday, April 11

The Homestead Rest invites you back for an acoustic open mic night, with sign-ups starting at 5:30 p.m. Bring your guitar, grab the mic and showcase your talents.

Starting at 6:30 p.m., Tim Vander Groef will perform at the Early American Tavern, 9 Main St., Sussex.

Dirk Quinn, guitarist for the jazz/funk band that bears his name, stops by Krogh’s for a solo show in the pub also starting at 6:30 p.m.

At 7 p.m., head over to the Glenwood, 2 Vernon Crossing, Vernon, to catch the dynamic duo Nick & Steve in action.

Or join JP of PS Xperiment at Brick & Brew for his Anything Goes open mic, karaoke and solo acoustic night. Whether you’re singing along or taking the stage, it’s guaranteed to be a fun and engaging evening of music.
