The Sparta Library is hosting a monthly Memory Cafe, a dementia-friendly gathering designed to provide social connections and creative activities for individuals with memory challenges and their loved ones, on Aug. 20 at 2 p.m.
The program will be entitled, “Mindful Movement and Fruit Kabobs.”
The complimentary program offers participants opportunities to take part in activities including music, gentle movement, art and other engaging experiences.
